We all know that since the arrival of the R35, the struggle to find adequate spark was put to bed. Supporting over 250+hp per cylinder, the R35 really is the "King of Coilpacks".
We've used and installed a lot of different kits from leading brands over the years but they all had one thing in common..... they were designed to look good but never function well. Every time you removed a coilpack to inspect or replace a spark plug, the boot would stick to the spark plug, leaving a resistor and spring floating somewhere in the engine bay and a very frustrated mechanic!
Some brands try to pedal dielectric grease and lubricants to combat the issue... Some supply floppy silicone replacement boots and other kits require you to cut the GTR boot and use brute force to squash the coilpack over the plug! COME ON!
There's been NO R35 GTR kit we'd seen that really felt well designed or thought through....... until now!
Say hello to the PZP R35 conversion kit; we've taken the OEM approach by sourcing custom Nissan type boots, especially designed for the BCPR style spark plug. Out boot lengths have been carefully measured and selected to provide a snug fit without causing issues removing coilpacks for general maintenance tasks.
Our coilpack brackets are CNC machined aluminium with a black anodized finish. The PZP kit comes complete with stainless steel button head mounting hardware, our OEM type coil boots, coilpack connectors and of course... Genuine Hitachi Ignition Coils.
